Who are Marble Construction Ltd?
Marble Construction was founded in 2007 by brothers Darren & Luke Maunders.
Prior to starting Marble Construction, Darren spent five years working for a large window manufacturer gaining an extensive knowledge of the building industry. He then went on to co-found Prospect Glazing Limited with Luke, who had previously been working as a skilled carpenter.
Since then the business has grown and evolved into Marble Construction, a highly successful construction company specialising in Extensions, Loft Conversions and Full House Refurbishments.
In 2011 Bruce Rathod joined the team. Bruce, who was appointed Sales director in 2014, has an extensive sales background working for some of the UK’s largest retail companies.

We are members of the Federation of Master Builders and all of our work carries a 10 year guarantee. What about planning permission and building regulations?
Some extensions require Planning Permission from the local council. All of our projects will always abide by Building Regulations. The quotation you receive from us will include the preparation of Plans and Calculations for your local authority if this is a service you would like us to help you with. If you already have planning permission, we are still happy to build your project and can help with just the building regulations if required.
Can I see a completed extension?
Certainly, you can either look around at the many case studies on our website for pictures of completed conversions or you can contact us and we can arrange for you to have a look at one of our completed extensions in person. We develop a friendly relationship with our customers, many of whom are more than happy to show you around.
How much will my extension cost?
Every extension is individual to your property and your chosen requirements. Consequently the cost will vary. Marble Construction have many years of experience of accurate costing and use expensive pricing software so you can be sure that the price we quote is the price you can expect to pay. Once you have accepted our quote, we guarantee there will be no extra charges unless you request further building works from us. Our Surveyor will discuss any additional extras with you many times before you decide to go ahead with us. Any additional items that would be an extra will all be detailed for you in your personal quotation so you can budget accurately before you decide to go ahead.
What areas do Marble Construction cover?
Firstly, Marble Construction are currently implementing systems so that we can work anywhere in the country (depending on the size of project you are looking to undertake). However, our main areas of business, are Southwest London, Surrey and Hampshire, although we have also completed extensions in Essex, Kent and the Midlands too.
How long does it take to convert my building project?
At Marble Construction we try to complete your project within 6 to 12 weeks but the time will vary depending upon the size of your building project. We strive to complete your conversion as efficiently as possible whilst maintaining an incredibly high standard.
